On Friday, we visited the Patriarchate. The top picture is of the Patriarchate, from Kalemegdan. Below is the Patriarchate from out front. The cathedral was built in the 1930s, I believe, and it was interesting to note how "Western" or romantic the iconography inside was. Unfortunately, no photos were allowed inside any of the churches in Serbia.
